(Tomorrow is the big day! I'll try to post the birth info asap after the birth!)
I sewed up a storm all weekend to finish a few random projects. My main objective was to sew two receiving blankets, one boy one girl. I finally completed both on Saturday night while hubby was working. Those were the only two things I would have been really dissapointed had I not completed before the baby arrived. These first two photos are of those blankets.
I had some extra fabric and decided to try a little pair of kimono shoes that I found the pattern for online a while ago. They turned out kind of cute. Obviously, these would be for a little girl. :-P
The other item I wanted to share was a diaper/wipes case that I made for our 18 month old so she could have her own little bag to take to Sunday school now that I will need my diaper bag for the new little one. I like the funky zebra pattern with the pink lining. Suits her little attitude. :-) I still hope to get her name embroidered on the flap, but that will have to wait. ;-)
I did finish a couple other little random things that I didn't have time to get photos of. Maybe I can post photos of those after the baby arrives.
I can't wait to hear about your new, precious bundle!! The shoes are adorable-I hope your baby will be able to use them :)!
